Coffee Monday

The Autumnal Equinox is only three days away.  Here in central Texas we are not greeted with the promise of cooler temperatures and colorful fall leaves.  The changing of the season is heralded with the start of the school year and the return of pumpkin spice everything. 😉

Coffee Monday

Good morning,

Are you as fascinated by coffee art as I am?  Getting those beautiful coffee drinks with art swirled into the foam, it is almost too pretty to drink.  I found a website this week that showcases some of this latte art.  It is called Superb Cook and the article is titled

Adorable Latte Art – 19 Photos

This is one of the images from the collection.  Wow!

Coffee Monday

Good morning.

I seem to be on a coffee ice cream theme.  Last week it was Vietnamese Coffee Popsicles   This week I came across an ice cream recipe titled:  No Churn Coffee Toffee Fudge Swirl Ice Cream.  Wow! Doesn’t it look amazing?

It reminds me of one of my favorite Ice creams I would get as a child.  This no churn recipe sounds easy and delicious.

I found it on the website Celebrating Sweets (by way of Pinterest – of course).

Click here to go to their website for the recipe and instructions.   Celebrating Sweets website logo

Let me know if you try it and what you think.

Enjoy,

Coffee Monday

We are in the middle of summer here and everyday the temperatures have been  in the upper 90’s.  I love hot coffee, but sometimes it calls for something cooler in the mornings.  I have posted iced coffee recipes here and here.

This week I found a recipe on Pinterest for  Vietnamese coffee Popsicle’s from A Spicy Perspectives Blog.  They look fabulous.

Now I have to go find my Popsicle molds. 🙂
