Do you ever have days when people don’t take you seriously, then wonder why they are left a little singed? Maybe it’s time to give them some friendly advice. 😉

In my search for all things dragon related, I found this wonderful pottery site that had beautiful dragon mugs and dishes. The site is Page Pottery – Turning Mud To Stone
The handmade pottery you see here was created by Kristen and J.R. Page. Their pottery studio is in North Carolina, USA. You can find out more about their studio and pottery on their tumblr site pagepottery.tumblr.com

Good morning!
I happened across another wonderful dragon artist on Pinterest this week. Her name is Heidi Buck and she has a lovely website called. The Dragons of Heidi Buck.
I have been working in the garden and around the house this week. We are already seeing wildflowers and butterflies. This drawing of a Thistle dragon and butterfly by Heidi Buck are perfect.
When you visit her site, you will find all types of dragons. They are wonderful. The artist also has a Zazzle shop where you can buy her gorgeous dragons: The Dragons of Heidi Buck
I hope you take a moment to explore her dragons.

Good morning!
Today’s Dragon Thursday has two of my favorite things. Coffee and blue dragons. The artist is HBruton on DeviantArt
Please visit this artists page. She has many lovely fantasy pieces for sale. She also takes commissions. I could spend hours looking through her portfolio.
I have decided to learn to knit. I love outdoor things like gardening and hiking, so this was an idea that I had entertained, but never really pursued. It is a bit frustrating (as I was warned it would be), but like any thing, else, it takes practice and patience.
I went to Pinterest to look for information for beginner knitters and leapfrogged to this tumblr blog Queer-Knits because they had a Pinterest link to a great Sea dragon shawl by Ambah O’Brien.
Inspired by sea creatures real and imagined, the Sea Dragon Shawl is knit from side to side, with short rows forming a shallow crescent shape. Its comfortable proportions are perfect for wrapping around the neck scarf-style or wearing around the shoulders. Choose between a small or large Sea Dragon Shawl and showcase your favourite yarn: go crazy with your leftover yarn stash and knit each segment in a different colour, use a gradient or variegated yarn, or go with your favourite solid colour combination.
Suitable for adventurous beginners, techniques include: simple short rows, picking up stitches, simple increases and decreases.
You can buy the pattern on Ravelry.
It states that the pattern is suitable for adventurous beginners. I am not there yet, but some day. 🙂

I have been listening to a book titled Scrap Metal by Harper Fox. One of the characters is a sculptor that creates using scrap metal. When I went searching for ideas for this Dragon Thursday post and came upon these dragons, it felt like fate. 😉
I found this dragon sculpture on Pinterest which led me to this website Recycle Art.
From their website:

Now wouldn’t this be a fun coffee shop to go to?
I love Pinterest for finding ideas for Dragon Thursday. This week I would like to share the Etsy site of Kerribeads. They have some of the most beautiful beads I have seen. In addition to having the dragon bead that caught my attention, she also offers tutorials on making the lampwork beads. Here is more about the artist on her About section of the store:
Hello and welcome to my shop!
My name is Kerri Fuhr and I am a full-time glass bead artist, happily making beads for over 12 years here in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. My specialty is creating miniature glass “paintings”, which are ornate glass focal beads that feature landscapes, animals and dragonflies….and anything else that captures my fancy! My newest work also features bead sets with my intricate tapestry-inspired scrollwork.
While I enjoy creating jewelry collections from my beads my focus is to create beads for other jewelry designers for their own unique creations. I am happy to consider requests for certain colors and styles so please feel free to convo me with requests!
Thanks for taking the time to drop by and please check in at the end of March when I re-open the shop to see the new beads I’ll have in store for you!…
Now for the Dragons 🙂 (Click photos to go to the Etsy store)
This is the bead I found on Pinterest. It has sold, but look at that beauty. Gorgeous work.
…This sly character is rich in detail and perfect for anyone who loves the mystical, fantastical world of dragons! Set against a glossy black background, this detailed dragon strikes a dramatic pose and has a rather mischievous expression! This one of a kind focal would look great with a variety of gemstone accents – every dragon’s dream!…
This bead is handcrafted with Italian glass and wound on a 3/32″ mandrel. The dragon is made from thin glass “stringer” and is melted directly into the bead. All of my beads are made fresh daily and are annealed straight from the torch in a digitally – controlled kiln for lasting durability.
focal size: 42mm x 39mm
If you want to try your hand at creating these lampwork beads, the artist sells tutorials on how to make them. The dragons shown are exquisite. (scroll through the photos on the link to the tutorial. )
Please take a look at her Etsy store. She has some wonderful tutorials for sale.
