Recently, I received an unexpected package in the mail.  I recognized the name on the return address , but could not imagine what they would be sending me.  It turned out to be a beautiful framed cross-stitched dragon. I did not know why I was sent this amazing gift and contacted the friend that sent it.
It was made by Jennifer Hesse for an auction held by The Knightly Order of the Fiat Lux (KOFL) ,a fraternal non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community, ( http://www.kofl-games.org/about.php )
The auction supported The Autism Society of North Carolina.( http://www.autismsociety-nc.org/ ) Jennifer put a lot of time into this beautiful piece and I am honored that someone wanted me to have this gorgeous dragon. There was no note, and Jennifer couldn’t say who had won the auction or who had sent it to me, other than they are a mutual friend.
