Last night I went in search of dragon coffee mugs. There are many styles , sayings and types of dragons to choose from. I happened across this one (I really like the glasses):
It is called Ravenclaw Dragon and the artist is Shaneisadragon. They have a large selection of dragon themed art, plus a section titled Autistic Pride/Neurodiveristy

I decided to search for dragons on Etsy this week. I saw several fun stores with interesting and unique dragon products. With summer ending and the baking season approaching, this one caught my eye.
I always loved the rolling pins that my grandmother used. They were utilitarian and well worn from many years of baking. I now have her rolling pins as well as my great grandmothers and my moms. When I found these whimsical rolling pins on Etsy, I was delighted. I could just imagine all of the fun cookies and pastries that could be created with these.
The store is called Dough Roller. It is a small family owned business near Vilnius, Lithuania. 
This wonderful dragon design is just one of many they have in their store. I also love the Coffee Style themed roller. Plus there are some Folk and Flower themes, Holidays, Movies, Cats, Dog themes… Okay. I found many that I would love to have. Be sure to click on the logo above and find your favorite rolling pin.

Dragon Thursday
Recently, I received an unexpected package in the mail. I recognized the name on the return address , but could not imagine what they would be sending me. It turned out to be a beautiful framed cross-stitched dragon. I did not know why I was sent this amazing gift and contacted the friend that sent it.
It was made by Jennifer Hesse for an auction held by The Knightly Order of the Fiat Lux (KOFL) ,a fraternal non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community, ( http://www.kofl-games.org/about.php )
The auction supported The Autism Society of North Carolina.( http://www.autismsociety-nc.org/ ) Jennifer put a lot of time into this beautiful piece and I am honored that someone wanted me to have this gorgeous dragon. There was no note, and Jennifer couldn’t say who had won the auction or who had sent it to me, other than they are a mutual friend.
So thank you mystery friend and thank you Jennifer!

Remember the blog posts I ran on the artist named Lauren whose tumblr blog is Iguana Mouth?
They are: Here (Dragon fruit), here ( Unusual Dragon hoards) and here (Their store).
Their store was pretty much sold out of the dragon hoard prints when I ran those posts, but it has been restocked and once again, is selling out quickly.
I gave myself a budget and ordered two prints and a pack of dragon fruit stickers. They arrived this week.

Hoard of Garden Gnomes – I did not realize how much I like gnomes until I started looking at this print. 😉
I love gardening and plants and chose the Hoard of Plants and Terrariums. I am so upset that I did not also order the Hoard of trees. It has already sold out, but I had a budget and stuck with it. Ah well. Next time.
I enjoyed the little notes that Lauren tucked in with the order and the thank you and discount on my next purchase was attached to a Magic card. Cute.
I am very pleased with the order. The colors are vibrant and I love them all. The store is a fun place to shop. Take a look and see which is your favorite dragon hoard. Or maybe find something completely different.

Once again Pinterest led me to a most interesting web store I found a link to this dragon scarf. Beautiful. The artist /designer has a collection of scarves depicting dragons drawn in several styles. They are all gorgeous. The store can be found on Etsy and it is called My Dragon Spirit. The artist calls the dragon on the scarf below a phoenix dragon. I did not see this particular scarf available on her store but there are many other phoenix dragon scarves as well as several other designs that are equally as beautiful.
